Jacob Burns Law Library: ILL@JBLL

New Interlibrary Loan System
As of January 2007, the interlibrary loan system has changed to ILLiad. All users must now do a one-time registration in order to submit requests for interlibrary loan processing. A link to the registration form is available on the right side of this page.

Interlibrary Loan at GW Law
Interlibrary Loan is a service provided to the faculty, students, and staff of the George Washington University Law School. Materials are borrowed or copies are obtained if they are not available on campus or through Sharelaw.

Before Submitting a Request Please Do the Following

  • Check the online catalog, JACOB, to determine that the item is not available at the Law Library.
  • Check the Sharelaw libraries by clicking on the Sharelaw button in JACOB to determine that the item is not available at one of the Sharelaw libraries.
  • Law students and staff should also check the catalogs at Gelman and Himmelfarb libraries to determine that the item is not located on campus.

If you have multiple items, you must fill out a separate request for each item.

For Assistance
If you need assistance locating materials, contact the Reference desk either in person, via email (ereference@law.gwu.edu), or by phone (202-994-6647).
